1. Our Intellectual Property Rights

Future Topper owns the copyright to all original content we create, including:

  • Practice questions, sample papers, and educational guides created by our team

  • Blog articles and compilations of educational materials

  • Website design, graphics, user interface, and software code

This content is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

1.2 Third-Party and Official Content

We host educational materials from official sources (CBSE, ICSE, state boards, NTA) under fair dealing provisions of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 (Section 52). These remain the property of their owners. Ebooks contain our original content only. See our Sources & Attribution page for details.

Future Topper trademarks are protected. Educational board names used informatively only.

2. User Rights and Restrictions

2.1 Permitted Use

Limited license for personal, non-commercial educational use:

  • View/download free materials and purchased ebooks for personal study

  • Print for individual use

  • Share direct website links with attribution

2.2 Prohibited Use

Users may NOT:

  • Redistribute, resell, or share ebooks/downloads (one device/personal use only)

  • Reproduce original content on other platforms

3. Copyright Infringement Notice

  • Good faith statement and accuracy declaration under penalty of perjury

  • Your signature

4. Counter-Notification

For mistakenly removed content, provide:

  • Material identification

  • Good faith mistake statement

  • Consent to Agra, Uttar Pradesh courts

  • Signature

We forward valid counter-notices; restoration possible if no legal action filed within 10-14 days.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Repeat copyright violators (including ebook piracy) will have access terminated.

6. Fair Use and Educational Exception

We rely on Section 52 of Indian Copyright Act, 1957 for educational use, but promptly address valid claims.

8. User-Generated Content

Submissions grant us perpetual, royalty-free usage rights; must not infringe third-party IP.

9. Response Process

Valid notices receive: acknowledgment (5 days), investigation, removal if confirmed, user notification.

10. Ebooks and Digital Products

Purchased ebooks are licensed for personal use only. Piracy/sharing violates terms and this policy.

11. Misrepresentation Liability

Knowingly false claims may result in legal liability.

12. Governing Law

Indian Copyright Act, 1957; courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Policy

Updates posted with new date; continued use = acceptance.
