What's Inside
Each paper is divided into three sections. Section A (Reading Skills, 20 marks) contains two passages — an unseen prose passage and a case-based factual passage with a visual input (table or chart), each with MCQs and short-answer questions. Section B (Writing Skills and Grammar, 20 marks) includes 10 grammar questions covering tenses, modals, determiners, reported speech, and subject-verb concord, along with one formal letter and one analytical paragraph (each with an OR choice). Topics Covered
Grammar topics across the 20 papers include reported speech, tenses, modals, determiners, active-passive voice, and subject-verb concord. Writing topics include formal letters, informal letters, and analytical paragraphs based on data and bar charts. Literature questions draw from chapters and poems in First Flight (including prose and drama) and stories from Footprints Without Feet. Reviews
Overall quality is very good. Grammar, writing and literature all sections are balanced properly. One small feedback is that some hard level papers could be slightly more challenging in the reading section but that is minor point. At 49 rupees I have absolutely no complaint. Will recommend to all class 10 students without hesitation.
I used to not know how to write analytical paragraph at all. The model answers in answer key showed me exactly how to structure it, how to use data from chart, how to write conclusion. After practicing 5-6 papers I can write analytical paragraph confidently now. This is the most practical improvement I got from these papers.
My son was scoring around 65-68 in school tests. After two months of practicing these papers his writing improved and he became faster also. He scored 79 in his board exam. I am very happy. The model answer keys are written in very good language which also helped him understand how to frame sentences properly in exam.
My daughter was always losing marks in grammar questions. Reported speech and subject verb concord she used to get confused. After practicing from these papers regularly she understood the patterns properly. The 10 grammar questions in each paper cover all topics that come in boards. Very useful.

English exam is 3 hours and my son always used to rush in last 30 minutes. After doing timed practice with these papers he learnt how much time to give each section. Now he finishes Section A in 40 minutes, Section B in 40 minutes and has full time for literature. This time management skill only comes from full paper practice.
The writing tasks have OR choices exactly like real CBSE paper. So sometimes I get letter writing OR notice, sometimes formal OR informal. This variety across 20 papers means I get practice of all types. Other practice material I saw online did not have OR options which made it less realistic. This one is properly designed.
What I liked most is that the unseen passages are on interesting real life topics, not boring or repetitive. The case based passages with tables and charts are also good practice because this type is coming more in recent boards. All passages feel original and not copied from somewhere which is important.
I was worried whether both First Flight and Footprints Without Feet will be covered properly. Both are covered in every paper with extract questions, short answers and long answers. My son attempted 8 papers so far and he said no chapter is left out. Very happy with the coverage.
The sample papers cover all three sections thoroughly and the model answers are very helpful. The PDF layout could be more polished. Still a recommended purchase for board preparation.
