Prepare for your Class 12 CBSE Board Chemistry exam (Subject Code: 043) with 20 full-length sample papers, each structured on the standard question paper pattern — 33 questions, 70 marks, 3-hour format. All questions are original and cover the complete Class 12 Chemistry syllabus.

What's Inside

Each paper follows the standard five-section structure: Section A (16 MCQs and Assertion-Reason, 1 mark each), Section B (5 Very Short Answer, 2 marks each), Section C (7 Short Answer, 3 marks each), Section D (2 Case Study questions, 4 marks each), and Section E (3 Long Answer, 5 marks each). Internal choices are provided throughout. Every paper is followed by a complete step-wise answer key with full working shown.

Topics Covered

Questions span the complete Class 12 Chemistry syllabus — Solutions (colligative properties, van't Hoff factor, molality, azeotropes), Electrochemistry (Nernst equation, Kohlrausch's Law, fuel cells, Daniel cell), Chemical Kinetics (rate laws, integrated rate equations, zero/first/second order), d and f Block Elements (lanthanoid contraction, d-block trends, Crystal Field Theory), Coordination Chemistry (IUPAC naming, VBT, spectrochemical series), Haloalkanes and Haloarenes (SN1/SN2/E2 mechanisms), Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers (Lucas test), Aldehydes and Ketones (aldol condensation, named reactions), Amines (carbylamine, diazotisation, Sandmeyer), Biomolecules (carbohydrates, amino acids, DNA base pairing, vitamins), and Polymers (PDI, addition and condensation).

Difficulty Levels

Papers are spread across three levels: Easy (Papers 1–2), Medium (Papers 3–4, 9–10, 13), and Hard (Papers 5–8, 11–12, 14–20), with each paper's key topic focus listed in the contents — allowing targeted practice on weaker areas.

Best Chemistry sample papers I have used

Coordination Chemistry questions on IUPAC naming, VBT and spectrochemical series are very well framed. These are among the trickiest topics in Class 12 and the coverage here is thorough.

Very detailed long answer model solutions

Section E five-mark answers show how to structure responses for full marks. Presentation and point sequencing matter in board exams and these model answers demonstrate that clearly.

Amines section questions are very good

Carbylamine test, diazotisation, Sandmeyer reaction and coupling reaction questions are varied and well framed. Good reinforcement of a chapter with many reactions to remember.

    Case study questions are excellent

Section D case study questions require synthesis of multiple concepts. These are exactly the type that trip students in board exams and this material prepares you well for them.
