ICSE Class 10 Biology Specimen Papers 2026-27
Strengthen your board preparation across every Biology topic with 20 fully original specimen papers, designed for Class X students appearing in the ICSE Biology (Science Paper 3) examination.
Each paper follows the standard board format — Section A (30 marks, attempt all) and Section B (50 marks, attempt any four) — for 80 marks in 2 hours, with 15 minutes of prior reading time.
What's inside:
20 complete papers graded across Easy (7 papers), Medium (7 papers), and Hard (6 papers) levels for a progressive preparation journey from recall and understanding to application and analysis
Full syllabus coverage across all major units: Basic Biology (Cell Structure, Cell Division, Osmosis, Diffusion), Plant Physiology (Photosynthesis, Transpiration, Absorption), Human Anatomy and Physiology (Digestive, Circulatory, Excretory, Nervous, and Endocrine Systems), Genetics (Mendelian inheritance, sex determination, chromosomes), Population, and Environmental Pollution
Diagram-based questions in every paper, covering labelled diagrams of cells, nephrons, the human brain, reflex arcs, the heart, and more — the question type most students lose marks on
MCQ section in every paper with application-based and concept-testing questions across all syllabus units
Complete answer keys with step-wise solutions after every paper, modelled on board-level marking expectations
How to use it: Attempt each paper under timed, exam-like conditions (15 minutes reading time followed by 2 hours of writing) before reviewing the answer key. Work through Easy papers to consolidate concepts, then progress to Medium and Hard papers as your board date approaches.

Reviews
The 20 papers cover the ICSE Biology syllabus comprehensively and the diagram questions are genuinely useful. A few answer key diagrams in the Hard papers could have been slightly more detailed. That said, the price and the volume of practice material make this an excellent purchase overall.
The ICSE format is accurately replicated in every paper. Section B answer selection practice is valuable. A couple of Hard paper Genetics questions felt slightly above ICSE level but good for challenge practice.
Cell Structure, Photosynthesis, Transpiration, all Human Anatomy systems, Genetics, Population, Environmental Pollution — every unit covered without gaps. A truly complete ICSE Biology preparation resource.
Solid coverage of Human Anatomy and Plant Physiology. Step-wise solutions are well-structured. A minor note — some MCQ explanations could go into slightly more detail. Overall a strong resource.
Section A and Section B format is perfectly replicated. The 15-minute reading time structure is maintained in the instructions. Felt like sitting the real board paper every single time.
20 papers covering the full ICSE Biology syllabus is exactly what my daughter needed. Diagram-based questions in every paper helped her tackle the section most students lose marks on. Confidence improved enormously.
20 papers covering all major units is impressive. The diagram questions in every paper are the standout feature. A few answer key diagrams could be slightly more detailed but overall quality is excellent.
I always lost marks on labelled diagrams — the heart, nephron, brain, reflex arc. Having them in every paper forced me to practice until I got them right. My diagram scores improved significantly.
The Easy to Hard progression works well. Diagram practice is genuinely valuable for ICSE Biology. One suggestion — a few Endocrine System questions could have more variety. Still very good.
Choosing which four questions to attempt from Section B is a strategy decision. Practicing this choice across 20 papers taught me to read quickly and pick my strongest topics first.
