Each paper follows the standard board format — Section A (Civics, compulsory) and Section B (History, attempt any four questions) — for 80 marks in 2 hours, structured exactly as in the actual examination.

What's inside:

  • 15 complete papers graded across Easy, Medium, and Hard levels for progressive preparation that builds from recall and understanding to analytical and evaluative questions

  • Full Civics coverage across Parliament (Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Joint Sittings), the President, Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the Supreme Court and High Courts, and Emergency Provisions

  • Full History coverage across the Indian National Movement — from the First War of Independence (1857) and the Age of Social Reform through the Mass Phase (Non-Cooperation, Civil Disobedience, Quit India) to the road to Independence

  • Diagram and case-based questions in every paper, developing the structured response skills that earn marks at board level

  • Detailed answer keys with step-wise model answers after every paper, so you know exactly what examiners expect

How to use it: Attempt each paper under timed conditions (2 hours, with 15 minutes reading time) before consulting the answers. Work through Easy papers first, then progress to Medium and Hard as your board date approaches.

    Good material overall, small suggestions

The 15 papers cover both Civics and History thoroughly and the model answers are helpful for understanding examiner expectations. A few History answer keys for analytical questions could demonstrate evaluative language slightly more explicitly. That said, at 49 rupees with 15 complete papers, this remains a very worthwhile purchase for any ICSE student.

    Good overall, minor suggestions

The difficulty progression from Easy to Hard works well and the independence movement coverage is thorough. A small number of model answers for longer History questions could be slightly more structured in their presentation. Considering the value, still an excellent buy.

    Useful resource with small notes

Civics and History coverage is both thorough. The step-wise model answers are the highlight. A few Emergency Provisions question answer keys could explain the three types more distinctly. At this price, still a very worthwhile and recommended purchase.

    Helpful for board preparation

Good coverage of Parliament, the executive, and the judiciary in Civics. History questions build well across difficulty levels. A minor note — some Easy paper questions feel slightly below typical ICSE difficulty. Still very useful.

    Very good H&C preparation material

15 papers covering both Civics and History sections well. The model answers are clear and concise. A few Hard paper analytical questions could push evaluative thinking slightly further. Still a strong and recommended resource.

    Solid content, minor notes

The Civics section is very well covered and Parliament topics are explained clearly in the model answers. A couple of History case-based questions across the Medium papers follow similar scenarios. Considering the price and the overall content quality, this is still a strong resource for H&C board preparation.

    Content is strong, small feedback

Both sections of the ICSE History and Civics paper are well-represented and the format is accurate throughout. Navigation between papers and answer keys in the PDF could be slightly more intuitive. Still a comprehensive and recommended resource at this price.

    Very good preparation material

The Civics section covers Parliament, President, PM, Supreme Court and Emergency Provisions — everything you need. History goes right from 1857 to Independence. A few diagram questions could be slightly clearer but overall excellent.

    Civics coverage is remarkably thorough

Parliament, the President, Prime Minister, Council of Ministers, Supreme Court, High Courts, Emergency Provisions — every Civics chapter is covered comprehensively. I finally stopped confusing Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha powers.

Solid practice for ICSE History Civics

Good coverage of the Indian National Movement — from the 1857 revolt through Non-Cooperation, Civil Disobedience and Quit India all the way to Independence. One or two answers ran slightly long but the content is accurate.
