CBSE Class 12 Commerce Question Bank Bundle

If you are taking Commerce with English Core, these four papers carry 320 marks of theory between them. This bundle covers all four.

Each paper is 80 marks of theory with 20 marks of internal assessment. Accountancy (055) puts 60 of those marks on partnership and company accounts and 20 on financial statement analysis and cash flow. Business Studies (054) runs 50 marks on principles and functions of management and 30 on business finance and marketing. Economics (030) splits evenly, 40 marks for macroeconomics and 40 for Indian economic development. The books handle that weighting differently. Accountancy and Business Studies distribute questions by chapter weight, while Economics carries 52 questions per unit across all eight regardless of marks.

Accountancy covers partnership fundamentals, reconstitution and dissolution, share capital and debentures, financial statements of a company, cash flow statements and analysis of financial statements. Business Studies covers all twelve chapters, starting at nature and significance of management and finishing on consumer protection under the 2019 Act. Economics covers all eight units: national income, money and banking, income and employment, government budget, balance of payments, development experience from 1947 to 1990 with the 1991 reforms, current challenges, and the comparison with China and Pakistan. English Core covers eight Flamingo prose chapters, five Flamingo poems and eight Vistas chapters. Two of the Vistas chapters, Should Wizard Hit Mommy and Evans Tries an O-Level, sit outside the current prescribed syllabus and are marked in the book as practice only.

How to use it: Work one subject at a time and one chapter at a time. Attempt every question before you read the answer, because a worked solution you have not struggled with first teaches you very little. In Accountancy, foot both columns and confirm that debits equal credits before you check the model answer. In Economics, redo each numerical on paper instead of reading the steps. In English Core, read the examiner’s tip even on questions you got right. Leave the HOTS and case study sections until you have finished the rest of the chapter.

These are practice questions with model answers, not a textbook. You will still need NCERT for the theory itself.
