SSC Selection Post subject-wise syllabus
General Intelligence
Analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualisation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, figural classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series and coding and decoding. Graduate level adds statement and conclusion, syllogism and critical thinking.
General Awareness
Current events, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity and everyday science. The depth scales with the level you apply for.
Quantitative Aptitude
Matric level covers number systems, fundamental arithmetic, percentage, ratio, averages, interest, time and work plus profit and loss. Higher levels add algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry and data interpretation.
English Language
Spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms and antonyms, spellings, idioms, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, voice, narration and a comprehension passage.
